Pay Range: A, $16.97 per hour
Hours: Part-Time (approximately 20 hours per week) between the hours of 1:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, when public school is in session, August through June, and between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. (up to 45 hours per week) Monday through Friday in July.
Area of Focus: This position primarily supports the daily operations of the Moving Ahead Program (MAP) through custodial and sanitation responsibilities. The role is focused on maintaining clean, safe, and organized classroom and kitchen environments, including routine cleaning, disinfecting surfaces, managing supplies, and supporting health and safety standards. While aligned with the Assistant/Teacher role, the primary emphasis is on ensuring a well-maintained environment that promotes the well-being of children and staff.

This is a seasonal position scheduled from June to July. While the position is temporary, there may be opportunities to apply for regular roles if they become available, however, continued employment is not guaranteed.

Responsible for assisting with all components of Columbia Housing Authority’s Moving Ahead Program (MAP).
Required to have valid Class E driver’s license or be able to obtain one within three months of hire.
