Proposed Significant Amendment to the 2022 PHA Plan
The Board of Commissioners of the Columbia Housing Authority (CHA) is requesting public comment on a proposed Significant Amendment to the 2022 PHA Plan.
A copy of the proposed amendment is available for public review at the following locations:
The Significant Amendment pertains to the planned development of Kinney Point Apartments, 24 units. CHA would like to utilize 24 existing available vouchers by converting them to Project Based Vouchers.
The amendment also includes the issuance of multifamily housing revenue bonds in one or more series in principal amount not to exceed $3,000,000 for the purpose of making a loan to Kinney Point Housing Development Group, LP, a Missouri Limited partnership, to finance a portion of the costs of the acquisition and development of 24 apartment units located at 1 East Sexton in the City of Columbia, to be known as Kinney Point Apartments. The Partnership is expected to be the owner and operator of Kinney Point Apartments.
Public Hearing
The CHA Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing on the proposed Significant Amendment on Wednesday, May 11, 2022. The public hearing will begin at 5:30 p.m. at the CHA Administration Building, 201 Switzler Street.
