Public Housing Renovations
In May 2012, the Columbia Housing Authority (CHA) launched a new affordable housing initiative designed to renovate, preserve, and protect the CHA’s aging Public Housing units. The CHA owns and operates 719 units of Public Housing that will be renovated utilizing the Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) Program.

List of CHA Public Housing Developments:
- Stuart Parker Apartments – 84 apartments located on Unity, Lincoln, Oak, Worley and Hicks Drive
- Bryant Walkway Apartments – 54 apartments located in the Bryant Walkway Area
- Bryant Walkway Apartments II – 36 apartments located adjacent to the Bryant Walkway Area
- Providence Walkway Apartments – 50 apartments located in the Providence Walkway Area
- East Park Avenue Apartments – 70 apartments located on Park Avenue east of Providence Road as well as Fisher Walkway and Moore Walkway
- Bear Creek Apartments – 76 units located on Elleta Boulevard
- Oak Towers – 147 apartments for seniors located at 700 N. Garth Ave.
- Paquin Tower – 200 apartments for seniors and persons with disabilities located at 1201 Paquin Street.
