Annual Budget, Plan & 5-Year Plan

Each year, the Columbia Housing Authority develops an Annual Plan and Budget.  A Five-Year Plan is developed every five years.  These plans provide an overview of the management and operation of the housing authority and also include the CHA operating budget and Capital Fund budget.

The Board of Commissioners of the Columbia Housing Authority (CHA) is requesting public comment on the  following significant amendment to the CHA Annual Plan.

These annual planning and budgeting documents are available for public review at the following locations:

  • CHA Administration Building, 201 Switzler Street
  • The CHA Family Self-Sufficiency Center inside the J.W. “Blind” Boone Community Center, 301 North Providence Road


Public Hearings

The CHA Board of Commissioners will hold two public hearings on these documents at their regular monthly meetings held on the following dates:

  • Tuesday, September 26, 2017
  • Tuesday, October 17, 2017

The public hearings will begin at 5:30 p.m. at the CHA Administration Building, 201 Switzler Street. Written public comment will also be accepted and should be addressed to:
