Family Self-Sufficiency Program

Do you have an idea about where you’d like to go in life, but need some help getting there? When you enroll in this free program you’ll create a personal five-year plan. Two Family Self-Sufficiency Coordinators are available to help you access services you need to help your family succeed as well as training programs to help you prepare for better paying jobs. You will receive one-on-one support from your FSS Coordinator to help you get the tools you need to realize your dreams and reduce your dependency on assistance. Your family will also have an opportunity to create and grow an escrow (savings) account during your participation in the program. As your earned family income increases, any increase in rent payment you experience will be placed in an escrow (savings) account. The savings is yours to use as you like upon graduation from the program.  Participation in this program qualifies for HUD required Community Service Hours. Contact your Family Self-Sufficiency Coordinator to schedule an appointment to learn more about the program. Or, download and fill out this FSS Intake Assessment form and drop it by the front desk at 201 Switzler St.  Your FSS Coordinator will call you for an appointment!
