2014 ACOP Public Comment Requested Veterans Preference 6-12-14
As part of the national effort to combat homelessness among veterans, CHA proposes to add a preference for veterans on their public housing wait list. This would give an extra boost up the wait list to otherwise eligible veterans. The Resident Advisory Board discussed the proposal at their June 5, 2014 meeting and had input into the final wording. The CHA Board will take public comments on the proposal at their August 19, 2014 meeting. CHA will accept written comment from the public at 201 Switzler Street, Columbia, MO 65203.
