Request for Public Comment – CHA Annual Plan & 5 Year Plan

The Board of Commissioners of the Columbia Housing Authority (CHA) is requesting public comment on the CHA Annual Plan and Five-Year Plan for FYE2014.

Each year, the Columbia Housing Authority develops an Annual Plan and updates its Five-Year Plan.  These plans provide an overview of the management and operation of the housing authority and also include the CHA operating budget and Capital Fund budget.

Public comment is requested on the following CHA planning documents for FYE2014.

• FYE2014 Annual PHA Plan and Five Year Plan

• FYE2014 Operating and Capital Fund Budgets

These documents are available through the link below:

Printed copies of these annual planning and budgeting documents are available for public review at the following locations:

  • CHA Administration Building, 201 Switzler Street
  • The CHA Family Self-Sufficiency Center inside the J.W. “Blind” Boone Community Center, 301 North Providence Road;
  • Bear Creek Public Housing Manager’s Office, 1109 Elleta Blvd.
  • Oak Towers Public Housing Manager’s Office, 700 North Garth Ave.
  • Paquin Tower Public Housing Manager’s Office, 1201 Paquin Street

The CHA Board of Commissioners will hold two public hearings on these documents at their regular monthly meetings held on the following dates:

  • Tuesday, May 21, 2013
  • Tuesday, June 18, 2013

The public hearings will begin at 5:30 p.m. at the CHA Administration Building, 201 Switzler Street. Written public comment will also be accepted and should be addressed to:
