Public Hearing Notice/Request for Public Comment – Significant Amendment to the PHA Plan

 

The Board of Commissioners of the Columbia Housing Authority (CHA) is requesting public comment on proposed Significant Amendment to the 2016 PHA Plan.

A copy of the proposed amendment is available for public review at the following locations:

  • CHA Administration Building, 201 Switzler Street; and
  • The CHA Family Self-Sufficiency Center inside the J.W. “Blind” Boone Community Center, 301 North Providence Road.

The Significant Amendment pertains to the planned renovation of the Bryant Walkway Apartments (54 public housing units) and the Bryant Walkway Apartments II (36 public housing units.)  Low-Income Housing Tax Credits have been awarded to these two projects and renovations are planned to begin in late 2017.
