CHALIS Board of Directors
The Columbia Housing Authority’s (CHA’s) five-member Board of Commissioners automatically serves as the CHA Low-Income Services (CHALIS) five-member Board of Directors.
As CHALIS’ governing body, the Board adopts policies for operations, approves new programs, adopts budgets, and hires the executive director, who serves as the corporate secretary.
The CHALIS Board of Directors meets on an as needed basis either directly preceding or following CHA Board of Commissioners’ meetings, which are generally held on the third Tuesday of each month at 5:30 p.m. in CHA’s Administration Building, which is located at 201 Switzler Street.
